Vellore Endocrinology International Congress 2025, held Jan 10–11 at CMC Vellore, focused on young-onset and malnutrition-modulated diabetes. The meeting led to the Vellore Declaration and proposed "Type 5 Diabetes" as a new insulin-deficient category.

ESI 2017
Endocrine Society of India–Research Methodology Workshop 2017 was held Feb 3–4 at CMC Vellore. It covered research ethics, grant writing and data interpretation. Inaugurated by Prof. M.S. Seshadri and Prof. S.K. Singh, 36 DM residents attended.

ENCORE was held on 23–24 Nov 2017 at the Stem Cell Research Auditorium, Christian Medical College, Vellore. The meeting highlighted India's epidemiological transition and rising NCD burden, referencing findings from The Lancet and the Global Burden of Disease study.

11th Annual Conference of the ISBMR
Dept. of Endocrinology, CMC, Vellore hosted the 11th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Bone and Mineral Research on 27–28 Nov 2015, preceded by a CME on 26 Nov. Over 500 delegates and 45 experts participated; the event earned 30 CME credits from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
