The Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism conducted the "Endocrine Masterclass-2019", which was held on 1st and 2nd March 2019. This was a two-day, exam-oriented training session for endocrine postgraduates from all over the country and neighbouring countries. A total of seventy trainees participated in the case presentations, meet-the-professor sessions and the endocrine quiz. Fifteen extramural faculty from all major institutes, including AIIMS, SGPGI, KEM and St. John's Medical College, were invited to conduct the teaching sessions. In addition, twenty faculty from allied departments at CMC conducted the meet-the-professor sessions. The workshop was one of the first of its kind in the field in the country, and will be an annual event.
